Marie Clair & Guido got married on the morning of 31 March 2012 in St Mary’s Cathedral in Cape Town. The ceremony was catholic and the church was absolutely breathtaking, of course I sneaked a few pictures from the top looking down. From there we did 3 location shoots for the bride, groom and the whole entourage, it was a little weird that I couldn’t steal the couple away, but this is how things get done in their tradition. The first stop was Milnerton beach with the beautiful Table Mountain in the background, then we moved to Cape Company Gardens and finally ended on Signal Hill. By this time the sun was up very high and I got some amazing shots of the couple’s silhouettes and the mountain in the background, wow! The reception took place that evening at Camps Bay High School. It was an interesting union as Marie Clair is Cameroonian and Guido German, but it was one of the most diverse and eventful weddings I ever did and it was an amazing experience to be a part of.
